17th Festival Habano

The 17th Festival Habano, which the cigar world is looking forward to, has started as of today. It will run until February 27th and, like every year, will give thousands of visitors the opportunity to discover new things about the cigar and cigar culture. The prominent brands at the festival this year are Montecristo and Romeo y Julietta.

Apart from the following ossified building blocks of the program, of course, activities such as Romeo y Julietta Gran Reserva Cosecha 2009 were added to the participants, where the new series of cigars will be introduced.

  • Welcome Cocktail

  • Visit to the Vuelto Abajo area and tobacco fields

  • Celebration night of the 25th anniversary of La Casa del Habano

  • Factory tours

  • Fair

  • International Seminar

  • International Tasting Competition

  • Gala dinner

In the seminars, there will be conferences on the subtleties of cigar tasting, from cigars and drinks or cigar and meal pairing, as well as many interesting topics. At the gala dinner, Montecristo's 80th anniversary vitola will be introduced.

I think it is a festival that everyone who is passionate about cigars must attend once in their lifetime. Until that day comes, I'll still be content with a distant sigh for now.
